Homer Police Department alerted the public last week to recent reports by bar patrons that their drinks had been spiked.
In a March 7 Facebook post, the department warned, “We’ve had a handful of reports in the last few months from people reporting their drinks were spiked at the bars in Homer.”
Homer Police Lt. Ryan Browning said via email the department has received “four or five” reports from people who felt as if their drinks were mixed with a sedative.
“They all report having had 1-2 drinks followed by unreasonable intoxication, memory missing from the night and aches and pains the following day,” Browning said. Incidents have
